FloWater merges with Bluewater, creates global water purification player

Stockholm based Bluewater and Denver-based FloWater have combined their operations to provide water purification products, according to a press release.

Bluewater, founded in 2013, provides water purification solutions for homes, businesses and public vending across Europe, the Middle East, China, Southeast Asia, the U.S. and South Africa.

FloWater, also launched in 2013, has around 7,500 refill stations installed in schools, gyms, offices and hotels across the U.S. Customers include Red Bull, Apple, Marriott, Peloton, United Airlines, Warby Parker and Google.

Bluewater founder and CEO Bengt Rittri will lead the combined entity as CEO, although the two companies will continue to operate under their existing brand names.

FloWater CEO Rich Razgaitis will continue to lead FloWater's U.S. and international operations.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
