Flowwater, a provider of water stations, has expanded into the consumer market with the rollout of Flowater in 16-ounce aluminum bottles as an alternative to single-use plastic bottles, according to a press release.
The aluminum bottles utilizes a proprietary filtration and purification technology, including reverse osmosis, that removes up to 99.9% of all impurities, viruses, heavy metals and microplastics, while re-mineralizing and alkalizing the water. A coconut carbon filter "finishes" the water.
The bottles are available for purchase online and are available for vending along with other retail and foodservice markets, a company spokesperson told Vending Times.
