The Edward A. Upthegrove Elementary School in LaBelle, Florida, has installed three touchless water refill stations paid for by the Parent Teacher Organization in place of traditional drinking fountains that were closed on account of the pandemic, according to a fox4now.com report.
The PTO bought the touchless fountains after teachers began purchasing cases of bottled water for students.
Cece Estrada, PTO president, said one water bottle refill station cost saround $1,300.
