Florida convenience services operator embraces touchless solutions

April 23, 2020

In an effort to provide its accounts with access to solutions that reduce the risk of contamination or infection, Gilly Vending, a Miami convenience services operator, is making touchless solutions available to their clients, including #TrulyTouchless vending machines and micro market solutions, as well as the newly released AMS Touchless Medical machines announced by Betson and AMS Vendors, according to a press release.

The touchless technologies available through Gilly Vending enable consumers at any vīv-enabled machine or vīv Market to view the menu of options, as well as product nutritional information, remotely, before securely purchasing the item(s) using the vīv app on their smartphone. If the vīv sale point is a vending machine, the item will dispense without needing to ever touch the machine.

Instant telemetry, live VMS and vīv's cashless capabilities ensure long restock cycles, fewer service calls, and reduced human interactions with equipment while providing Gilly Vending with the ability to manage pricing remotely, communicate with consumers directly, and a sense of comfort knowing they're reducing exposure to the virus, according to the press release.

"We realized that the health and wellness needs of our customers in health care facilities, educational campuses and military bases align with how Vagabond's vīv technology can reduce human exposure to the virus and provide peace of mind to all staff on site," Gilda Rosenberg, Gilly Vending CEO, said in the press release.
