Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers is undergoing a major transformation marked by large-scale construction and phased upgrades across the terminal. As part of the ongoing expansion, airport officials on Feb. 6 unveiled Evolve Eats, a dining concept in the center of Concourse C that replaces traditional food counters with automated vending technology designed to speed service for travelers.
Evolve Eats features a collection of automated food machines offering hot, ready-to-eat meals from brands such as White Castle, The Cheesecake Factory and Wow Bao, along with breakfast sandwiches, snacks and Coca-Cola products.
The space was created from a former gate hold room in Concourse C and is intended to improve the passenger experience while reducing wait times, according to a News-Press report.
The updates are part of a broader, multibillion-dollar expansion project at RSW.
