Flipper Champ Davidson joins Stern Pinball’s game design studio

Raymond Davidson, the world's number one ranked competitive pinball player in the International Flipper Pinball Association's standings, has joined Stern Pinball's design studio as game development software engineer, according to a company announcement. He previously held posts with Amazon, Ripl and Smilebox. At Stern Pinball, he is joining a talented programming team to help push more content and updates for released and future titles, the company explained.

"Raymond's ‘pinball IQ' is off the charts, which is clearly why he's currently ranked #1 in the world," George Gomez, Stern executive vice-president and chief creative officer, said in the announcement. 

Based minutes from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, Stern Pinball creates, designs, engineers, manufactures, markets  and distributes a full line of technologically-advanced "terrestrial" and digital pinball games, parts, accessories and merchandise. The company serves digital, consumer, commercial, and corporate markets around the globe. Its latest release is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series of flipper games.
