CHICAGO -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association said it has appointed Greg McCall to its Nutrition Leadership Committee. McCall is senior vice-president of sales and marketing at Five Star Food Service (Chattanooga, TN).

The NAMA Nutrition Leadership Committee was established in 2014 to give vending and micromarket operators a voice in nutrition program planning. "As a key player in our industry who manages nutrition efforts in both vending and micromarket channels, Greg's insights will be a value-add as we continue to develop best practices and share information regarding nutrition with our membership," said NAMA vice-president of public relations and marketing Roni Moore.

A 27-year industry veteran, McCall worked with global brands including Sara Lee, Coca-Cola, Ralston Purina and Campbell Soup prior to joining Five Star in 2011. At Five Star, he leads sales and marketing initiatives and is responsible for developing micromarket, vending and office coffee growth channels.

Other members of the Nutrition Leadership Committee include NAMA past-chairman Craig Hesch, A.H. Management Group (Rolling Meadows, IL); Bill Jensen, Jensen Marketing and Mesilla Valley Snacks (Las Cruces, NM); Rod Nester, Smith Vending (Clarinda, IA); and Mark Stein, Mark Vend Co. (Northbrook, IL).
