CHATTANOOGA, TN -- Jean Bouchard died on Aug. 19 after a long battle with cancer. He was chief financial officer of Five Star Food Service Inc.

 "It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our true friend and esteemed CFO, Jean Bouchard. Jean was an amazing person and business partner. He was my right-hand man and an integral part of Five Star's success over the years," said Five Star president and chief executive Alan Recher. "Without fail, Jean stood for and operated with the highest level of integrity and an incredible business mind. He impacted everyone that he crossed paths with and will be sorely missed as a colleague and friend."

Bouchard is survived by his wife and their son and daughter. A memorial service will be held on Aug. 31 at Lane Funeral Home in Chattanooga.
