Five Star Food Service to deploy Nayax VPOS touch readers

Five Star Food Service Inc., a Chattanooga, Tennessee-based convenience services operation and the largest Canteen franchise, will deploy Nayax's VPOS touch readers on its vending machines, according to a press release. Initially, 20,000 devices will be deployed through Five Star's fleet of vending machines.
"With significant changes in card brand EMV requirements and 4GE LTE compelling us to upgrade our fleet of cashless payment readers, we chose Nayax, due to their expertise and proven readiness as the only company providing EMV-certified devices for more than five years," David Hartig, Five Star's CIO, said in the press release.
Five Star is also using the VendSys vending management system software, which is part of the Nayax Group.
