Five Star Food Service Support To Community Kitchen Exceeds 75000

CHATTANOOGA, TN -- Five Star Food Service reported that since 2011, it has contributed more than $75,000.00 to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen in the organization's work to feed hungry and homeless individuals in the Chattanooga community.
 
Recently, Five Star president and chief executive Alan Recher and his team stopped by Community Kitchen to present this year's contribution and see first-hand the work the organization is doing to help families experiencing homelessness.
 
While the daily feeding program has remained constant at the Community Kitchen since it opened in 1982, providing around 180,000 meals each year, its mission continues to expand beyond offering basic needs to promote self-sufficiency through employment and housing programs.
 
Five Star, founded in 1993, has grown to one of the largest privately held operators in the U.S. and is a franchise of Canteen Vending.
