Five Star Food Service acquires Southern Vending

Five Star Food Service Inc., a Chattanooga, Tennessee-based Canteen franchise, has acquired, Southern Vending Inc., a full-line vending and micro market operator in southwest Tennessee, for an undisclosed sum, according to a press reelase.

Brian and Lorri Blattler founded Adamsville-based Southern Vending in 2000.

Five Star will fold Southern Vending's business into its own operation.

The relationship between the two companies matured due in part to their membership as Canteen franchises as well as mutual service on the Tennessee Automatic Merchandising Association board.
