Five Star Food Service acquires M&M Sales

Five Star Food Service Inc., a Chattanooga, Tennessee based convenience services firm and a Canteen franchise, has acquired M&M Sales Co., a Canteen franchise based in Lafayette, Louisiana, for an undisclosed sum, according to a press release. The acquisition expands the company's service territory to the west and into the state of Louisiana.

M&M Sales Co. was founded by Charles "Chuck" McMath in 1972 and has been a member of the Canteen franchise group for 20 years serving Southwest Louisiana out of distribution centers in Lafayette, Lake Charles and Houma.
