Five Star Food Service acquires Lincoln County Vending

Five Star Food Service Inc., a Chattanooga, Tennessee-based Canteen franchise convenience services operation, has acquired Lincoln County Vending, a Canteen franchise based in Fayetteville, Tennessee, for an undisclosed sum, according to a chattanoogan.com report. The acquisition expands Five Star's service territory west in southern Tennessee along the Alabama state line.

Dan Holt, Sr. and Dan Holt, Jr. launched Lincoln Count Vending in 1989 as a Tom's distributor called Dan's Snack Sales. The company was renamed a year later when Dan Holt, Jr. bought his father's share. The company became a Canteen franchise in 2005.
