Five Star Food Service acquires Indiana company’s vending assets

Five Star Food Service Inc., A Canteen franchise headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee, has acquired the vending assets of Millstone Catering Group in North Vernon, Indiana for an undisclosed sum, from owner Jeff Sharp. This acquisition will expand Five Star's presence in southern Indiana.

Five Star did not retain Millstone's vending employees and will fold the assets into its own vending operation, according to Andy Hayes, principal at EFN United, who brokered the sale.

EFN United is a St. Louis, Missouri based nationwide food, OCS, micro market and vending management company.
