Five Star Breaktime Solutions has acquired Heart of Georgia Vending, a Georgia-based vending services company. The transaction marks the third acquisition for the regional breaktime solutions provider in May and will expand its operational footprint in Middle Georgia, according to a press release
Heart of Georgia Vending was established in December 1996 by Richard Rustin, an industry veteran who previously spent nearly two decades with Coca-Cola. Under his leadership, the company grew to operate over 150 vending machines in the greater Macon area.
"I'm proud of what we've built and have full confidence that Five Star will continue serving our customers with the same dedication," Rustin said in the release.
Five Star Breaktime Solutions intends to integrate Heart of Georgia Vending service locations into its existing Macon operations.
"On behalf of the entire Five Star team, we thank Richard for entrusting us with the legacy of Heart of Georgia Vending," Pat Barger, director of mergers and acquisitions for Five Star, said in the release. "We look forward to continuing to provide exceptional service while introducing new offerings to enhance the breaktime experience for current and future customers."
