CHATTANOOGA, TN -- Five Star Food Service has completed three executive leadership team appointments. As a part of its long-term strategic growth plan, the Canteen franchise has added a new role, activated a former position, and filled a vacant post on its executive team.

 Gregory McCall
Gregory McCall, previously senior vice-president of sales and marketing at Five Star, has been named chief revenue officer --- a newly created position. McCall has been with the company for seven years and has overseen the growth of both the sales and marketing teams. He will retain responsibility for both teams along with new ones. McCall will focus on continued organic revenue growth across the company.

Richard Kennedy
Richard Kennedy has been named chief operating officer, renewing the role's position on the executive team. Kennedy comes to Five Star from a Charlotte-based boutique corporate strategy and operations consulting firm where he served as a director. He brings 20 years' experience to the company and played a role in Five Star's success over the last decade as a consultant, which resulted in the transition to becoming a Canteen franchise. Kennedy will focus on the company's operational execution.

 Mike McLean
Mike McLean, previously corporate controller at Five Star, has been named chief financial officer -- a role left vacant by the recent passing of Jean Bouchard. McLean came to Five Star in 2017 from logistics firm Forward Air where he was chief accounting officer for 12 years. In total, he brings 22 years of finance and account experience to the company. McLean will focus on maintaining and improving the financial reporting and health of the company.

"We could not be more thrilled about the executive leadership team we have in place," said Five Star president and chief executive Alan Recher. "The talent, expertise, leadership and integrity these men bring to their roles and our organization is second-to-none and will serve the company well for many years to come."
