NEEDHAM, MA -- Firestone Financial Corp. reports that veteran sales representative Helen Mooney plans to retire at the end of June. She has worked with the commercial finance company for 25 years.

"We will miss Helen's wonderful sense of humor and strong work ethic," said Firestone vice-president Jim Hines "She has always been great with the customers, and a fantastic teacher and mentor to our staff. I personally owe a debt of gratitude to Helen for all of her wisdom and guidance over our many years together. It won't be the same without her."

After hanging up her telephone headset, Mooney plans to enjoy her retirement, which will include traveling with her husband of 45 years, Johnny. "I am looking forward to retirement, but will miss my friends in the industry," she said. "Over the years, I have had the opportunity to learn and work with great people, but I don't think anything compares to who we have here today."

Founded in 1965, Firestone Financial is a nationwide commercial specialty finance company serving the amusement, fitness, vending and laundry industries. The company is now part of Berkshire Hills Bancorp.
