Ferrara opens DeKalb, Illinois plant, adding 500 jobs

Ferrara, a North American confection manufacturer, opened its $100 million, 1.6 million-square-foot facility in DeKalb Illinois, bringing 500 jobs, according to a wrex.com report.

So far, the company has filled half of the job openings.

The facility is located in the Chicago West Business Park south of I-88.
