Farmer's Fridge, which operates dedicated fresh food vending machines, has expanded into food delivery during the COVID-19 crisis and has invited chefs to develop recipes for delivery only, according to an abc7chicago.com report.
CEO Luke Saunders said 80% of the company's vending machines have gone offline and the delivery service, which is available in six states, is now double the vending machine business.
