Family Entertainment Group acquires Arcade City game room, 7D Dark Ride Adventure

Family Entertainment Group, based in Itasca, Illinois, has acquired the Arcade City game room and 7D Dark Ride Adventure at ICON Park in Orlando, Florida, from Face Amusements for an undisclosed sum, according to a press release.

The attractions are a part of the entertainment complex which is the home of the Wheel at ICON Park, an entertainment, dining and shopping complex.

Over the next few months Family Entertainment Group will expand the offering and amenities in a brand new 7,000-square-foot space located within the wheelhouse and rebranded as In The Game Icon Park. In The Game is expected to open in February of 2021 and the family entertainment center will feature attractions for visitors of all ages including the latest games and prizes, an interactive mirror maze, themed escape room, virtual reality, a Bob's Space Racer Game and 7D Dark Ride.

Arcade City will continue to operate and provide entertainment under their current business names until the re-model and re-brand is complete.
