Ex-Arcadia, SNK announce Samurai Shodown V Perfect for arcades

ExA-Arcadia, a manufacturer of location-based entertainment video games headquartered in Tokyo, has teamed SNK Corp. to bring The Shodown, a series of weapon-based fighting games which began on the arcade system, the NeoGeo MVS, in 1993, according to a press release. Its characters and Japanese world view saw it gain a global fan base which remains strong to this day.

Samurai Shodown V Perfect and the 10th game in the series arcade release came to be known as the "fabled final Neo Geo release," which will be in arcades from 2022.
