SÃO PAULO, Brazil -- Event Planning Solutions, which has organized Expo Vending & OCS for the past 14 years, reports that this year's event will be held in parallel with Brazil's largest hospitality-business trade exhibition, Equipotel. The two shows are scheduled for Sept. 11 through 14 at the São Paulo Expo center here. Expo Vending & OCS had been scheduled for the previous week. Registrations already made for Expo Vending & OCS are valid for the rescheduled event.
Equipotel is a world-renowned trade fair for the hospitality industry. This year's São Paulo event will occupy 25,000 square meters of exhibit space (nearly 269,100 square feet) and showcase some 1,500 national and international brands. It is expected to attract more than 34,000 qualified visitors.
ExpoVending & OCS has enjoyed steady growth over the past decade and a half, and Event Planning Solutions is confident that the two shows are mutually reinforcing. "The synergy between Expo Vending & OCS and Equipotel will allow the market to absorb the concept of speed and convenience in service," EPS predicted. "Vending machines can be the primary sales channel for a company, and are options for hotels, motels, inns and spas to generate facilities and benefits for their guests." This year's show is projected to draw more than 5,000 vending industry visitors.
Equipotel is considered the principal trade show for the hospitality and foodservice industry segments in Latin America. "Our mission is to bring exhibitors and visitors great options of products and services, and to be a profitable platform for generating business," said Equipotel director Alexandre Brown.
The São Paulo Expo facility is an ultramodern exhibition complex with eight pavilions, 34 modular halls and 4,500 covered parking spaces.
