EVA Wins Approval For New Name Launches Modernized Website

BRUSSELS, Belgium - The European Vending Association reports that it formally has become the European Vending & Coffee Service Association. The name change was voted by EVA's membership at the last Annual General Meeting, and now has been legally approved and published in the Belgian official journal.

The name-change plan calls for retention of the abbreviation EVA and the familiar "star" logotype.

EVA also reported that it has updated its website to reflect modern design trends, enhance members' access to documents and expand the site's value as a source of information about the vending and coffee service industry. It also provides new responsiveness in adapting to different display sizes, making it more convenient to use with smartphones and tablets.

The association will conduct its 2018 Annual General Meeting in conjunction with this year's European Vending Experience (EVEX) show. The combined event is  scheduled for November 15and 16 at the  Barceló Renacimiento Hotel (Seville, Spain), and is being organized conjointly with the Asociación Nacional Española de Distribuidores Automáticos (ANEDA), Spain's national vending association.
