CHAM, Switzerland -- Selecta Group has appointed Hugues Rougier interim chief financial officer, while it begins a search for a permanent position holder. He replaces Gary Hughes, who has been with the vending and office coffee service operation since 2008.
As financial chief, Rougier is responsible for finance and IT. Prior to joining Selecta, he was chief executive of Fraikin, a commercial vehicle for hire firm.
Hughes has worked for Selecta since 2008 and became its chief financial officer in 2013. He will remain with company during the transition.
Founded in 1957, Selecta is one of Europe's largest vending and OCS providers. It reported a turnover of €714 million ($774 million) for the 12 months ended June 30. It employs about 4,500 people, operates some 145,000 vending/OCS points of sale and serves daily an estimated six million customers in 21 countries. Selecta has been engaged in improving the workplace coffee experience through a partnership with Starbucks.
