AMSTERDAM -- The European Gaming and Amusement Federation (Euromat) has elected Eduardo Antoja president during its General Assembly here on May 27. He succeeds Annette Kok of Vereniging Automatenhandel Nederland (VAN), who had held the post since 2008.

Antoja, who has worked in the gaming industry for decades, is the founder of and a senior partner at Barcelona's Intrepid Consult SL, a technical services and operations provider to the gaming, health and IT industries. He was president of Euromat from 1999 to 2008, and was succeeded by Kok.

Additionally, Euromat named BACTA's John White first vice-president and Jakta's Mirjana Acimovic treasurer. Jakta is the Serbian amusement association.
