ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY -- Erin B. James has joined Vending Times as managing editor. She succeeds Nicholas Montano, who has accepted the post of director of marketing for Andamiro USA Corp. (Gardena, CA). She will report to VT president and publisher Alicia Lavay.

James brings nearly two decades of editing, graphics and publishing experience to her new post. Her previous positions included production manager for Whittier Publications (Long Beach, NY) and account supervisor, print and direct marketing, and then senior book production associate for Bookspan Inc. (formerly Direct Brands Inc./Doubleday Entertainment) in New York City.

As managing editor, she will be responsible for oversight of VT's print and online publishing operations and administration for the print edition, the email newsletters and the website.

Vending Times was established in 1962, and is the leading trade publication for the vending, coffee service, micromarket and music and amusements industries.
