ORLANDO, FL -- Embed plans to exhibit its latest advances, including a mobile wallet and wearable media, in a new two-story booth at this year's International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions here opening next week at the Orange County Convention Center.

The company reports that its spacious new booth will enable visitors to take part in one-on-one demonstrations with Embed's "champions," win attractive prizes and take a break at Embed's Cheers bar, open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Nov. 19 through 21.

Embed also plans to host an exclusive Night Race IAAPA After-Party at Andretti's Indoor Karting and Games, a long-time Embed customer and partner. "Andretti Indoor Karting & Games have been partners with Embed since 2007, so it makes perfect sense that they selected the Andretti Indoor Karting & Games Orlando venue to host their first post-IAAPA party for their customers and partners," said Edison (Eddie) Hamann, Andretti's managing member.

The centerpiece of Embed's display in booth #1336 at the IAAPA Expo will be the company's mobile wallet , the result of this year's top-secret development project. Embed has partnered with Google and Apple to obtain compliance approval for this new cashless solution, a game card that can reside in the Apple Wallet under iOS or Google Pay under Android. It is not necessary for the guest to download an app in order to add the virtual game card.

Complementing this convenient new payment method is Embed's collection of wearable media. The range of "wearables" now includes more than 200 design variations, covering every consumer demographic, gender and amusement category. Embed explains that it has brought fashion to the "game card" by combining textile design with various materials and technology to the reimagined media, in order to drive return visits, customer loyalty and a cult following.

"This is beyond great designs on game cards, which are two-dimensional," said Rob Thompson, Embed's chief supply chain officer. "We are working in 3D! These cards include embossed graphics, printed in full color on a shimmering metallic base, unlike anything in the category now. The collection even includes an eco-friendly natural and organic wooden card series." They will be on display at the "bling station" in the Embed booth.

Another hot topic at the Embed IAAPA exhibit will be the company's new partnership with OpenEdge, which is designed to offer customers safe, secure and reliable payment solutions.

"OpenEdge ensures our operators can access a central system for secure reliable payment solutions through all aspects of our Toolkit and Kiosk solutions," said Renee Welsh, chief executive of Embed's Solutions Group. This, she explained, means that reconciling daily payments is easy because all payments are recorded directly in the software, "making end-of day reporting a breeze."

OpenEdge will be conducting demonstrations in the Embed booth and offering a launch special: customers get a free Ingenico device when they sign up with OpenEdge for payment solutions with Embed's platform. This offer is valid through Dec. 31.
