Embed Completes 50 Cashless Installations For Tricorp Amusements

DALLAS -- POS technology giant Embed reports that it has completed 50 installations with Tricorp Amusements (Somerset, NJ). Established in 1981, Tricorp is one of the largest amusement machine operating companies in the United States. It is active in in five regions extending from the Canadian border to Florida, where its deploying Embed's debit card systems and its emOne standalone kiosk for unattended gamerooms.

"Embed and Tricorp have forged new avenues for growth in our industry as an outside service provider," said Tricorp president Joe Ingui. "We have focused our efforts on movie theaters, FECs, bowling centers, indoor mini golf, indoor trampoline parks and large family restaurants."

Ted Parsons, Embed's general manager for North and South America, noted that Tricorp's leadership is forward-thinking and imaginative "Their recognition of the value of card systems in nontraditional venues and their implementation through careful planning and utilization has been very successful in returning improved revenues for both the operator and location," he observed.

Embed's products allow for admissions control, machine monitoring and the cashless operation of games and attractions, along with retail, food and beverage sales, loyalty systems, prize redemption management and integrated event scheduling. The company is a division of Helix Leisure, which also includes LAI Games and the Locker Network.
