DALLAS -- Embed has announced the introduction of a reservation system for entertainment venues that conduct special events. Called Bookings, the new Embed product offers customers a streamlined event reservation experience, from online booking to in-store check-in.
Bookings is an addition to Embed's ToolKit software suite, and therefore integrates seamlessly with existing ToolKit application programs like Sales. It enables the operator to accept online party bookings for any number of guests, available at any hour of the day or night.
Since Bookings is cloud-based, data is not handled twice. The program is optimized for mobile devices and allows operators easily to upsell products and offer exclusive online deals. A simple barcode scan simplifies and speeds up check-in at the venue. The program also handles secure PCI-compliant hosted checkout.
P.J. Lahey, owner of Lahey Family Fun Park (Clarks Summit, PA), reported that "Bookings has helped us acquire new customers who prefer to do their research and shopping online.

The new Bookings application for ToolKit, and other Embed software and hardware products, will be on display in Booth 1039 at the 2018 Attractions Expo, conducted by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions.
