The Ekay Smartwell touchless beverage dispenser gives users the option to create their own custom beverages on demand without the need for disposable bottles or cans, according to the company's website. Users can create beverages and view nutritional information using a touchscreen or a mobile device.

The touchless solution provides a secure connection, as users cannot access administrative screens or override the dispense time out. No personal data can be accessed should the software be hacked.

The touchless enhancement is available with software version 1.0.0.1.0 and newer. The app is compatible with iOS versions 11 and 13 and with Android versions 9 and 10.

No user personal information is collected or stored; only drink data is stored at the unit.

Users can mix-and-match fruit flavors and add enhancements to fresh, filtered water — still or sparkling.

Staff can monitor units, maintain notifications and manage orders from computers, smartphones or tablets.
