LAKEWOOD, NJ -- Elaut USA has pulled the wraps off three new arcade redemption machines just in time for the busy summer season. Ticket Circus, Blackbeard's Bounty and Tower of Tickets build on the success of the company's targeted innovation.
Ticket Circus incorporates game principles similar to those applied in the popular Wizard of Oz pusher. Striving to transfer the success of Wizard of Oz to the next level, the design team in Belgium, where Elaut USA's parent is based, enhanced its new design with the latest EMOS platform that powers RFID technology. The contactless sensing system identifies chips pushed from the playfield, and the controller calculates their play values to award equivalent tickets or credits to the player.
According to company officials, Ticket Circus has been testing in Europe and is producing the same off-the-chart earnings as its predecessor. Elaut says its application of RFID is the first for the amusement industry.
"It has a unique theme, and there hasn't been a circus-themed game in decades," said Elaut's Glenn Kramer. "The game is designed to appeal to a wide range of play demographics, from young to old, and men and women."

Ticket Circus measures 91.5" H. x 77" W. x 69" D., and weighs 1,433 lbs.
The second new model in Elaut's pusher lineup is Blackbeard's Bounty. The pirate-themed game is available in three- and six-player configurations. Customers purchase credits by inserting coins or bills; total credits are displayed at the playfield's center. Using a joystick, the player aims a shooting arm that can be actuated by a pressing firing-button. Accurate shots push tokens and cards off the playfield. Holding the button down enables rapid play by continuous shooting.
Designed as a "semi-sequel" to Elaut's Wizard of Oz, Blackbeard's Bounty features a similar set of collectible cards. The game is designed to appeal to a wider demographic than Wizard of Oz, particularly male players.
"Blackbeard is the Wizard of Oz on steroids," Kramer said. "And it's a completely LED-lit machine for more attractive lighting, low power consumption and longer life."
The six-player version of Blackbeard's Bounty measures in at 91" H. x 74" W. X 70.5" D. It weighs 1,433 lbs.
Rounding out Elaut's new trio of offerings is Tower of Tickets. A collaboration between Frank Seninsky of Alpha Omega Amusements & Sales (East Brunswick, NJ) and Elaut, the new four-player rotary game enhances the familiar play of a "knock-it-off" rotary with a novel twist. Players try to knock off an enticing roll of plasticized tickets, offering a prize that is both familiar to players but unique in rotary game play. The ticket roll, which cannot be uncoiled, is redeemed at the redemption counter.
"The game is such a smashing success that we decided to join forces with another domestic manufacturing company," Kramer said. "This decision gave us the ability to keep up with industry production demands and the luxury of industry-savvy designers. We expect the machine to be well received in its latest form."
