LAKEWOOD, NJ -- Elaut USA has pulled the wraps off the X-Treme Big One, the newest addition to the company's skill game lineup, and Cool Zone, a climate-creating amusement. Both games debuted at the IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando, FL.

The eye-catching X-Treme Big One offers a complete complement of LED operator-adjustable rainbow lights as well as colorful header. The single-player skill crane measures 12.5 ft. H. x 9.8 ft. D. and 8.2 ft. W. It weighs 1,499 lbs.

"It's a premier center-hall piece that will work in shopping malls, large FECs and amusement parks with a canopy," said Elaut's Glenn Kramer.

However, the X-Treme Big One's innovative feature is the patented "Claw Vision" system. The new system is comprised of a small camera mounted in the claw that displays a unique real-time view from inside the crane on a rear-mounted 42" high-definition screen. An optional 55" screen is also available. The screen, which features a crosshairs graphic, gives a "claw's-eye" view of the playfield to assist the player to accurately position the claw over the desired prize.

Also rolling out at the Elaut's IAAPA exhibit was Cool Zone, a booth that provides a refreshing blast of arctic cold to over-heated passers-by. According to company officials, the booth drops ambient temperature 30° to 35° to offer a cooling break from outdoor locations like beach resorts, or indoor locations where patrons work up a sweat, such as trampoline or rock-climbing attractions. The unit measures 82" H. x 60" D. x 40" W.
