Eastern Illinois University has installed a health and wellness vending machine on campus to promote student well-being, according to a WCIA report. Located in the Martin Luther King, Jr. University Union, the machine offers a variety of health-related products and is accessible 24/7.

"We believe that by providing easy access to health-related resources, we are not only addressing students' immediate needs but also fostering a culture of wellness on our campus," Matthew Warner, assistant director of EIU's Health Education Resource Center, told the news outlet.

The vending machine accepts credit or debit cards, but not Panther Cards or cash. EIU aims to emphasize the importance of healthy habits and will continue to provide resources to support physical and mental wellness throughout the year.
