EcoATM names Matt Furlong as CEO

EcoATM, a global provider of smartphone trade-in and re-commerce, has named Matt Furlong as CEO, effective Sept. 3, according to a press release. Furlong, a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in e-commerce, consumer products and reverse logistics, takes over from Stan Pavlovsky, who led the company for the past three years.

Furlong's career includes stints as Chief Marketplace Officer at Shutterstock, CEO of GameStop and various leadership roles at Amazon, including CEO of Amazon Australia. His appointment is expected to guide EcoATM into its next phase of growth.

"His outstanding track record successfully leading a broad range of businesses with a tech-forward approach in fast-moving, innovation-driven markets makes him the ideal choice to guide ecoATM into its next chapter," Lee Solomon, a member of ecoATM's Board of Directors, said in the release.

Under Pavlovsky's leadership, EcoATM expanded to over 7,000 kiosks across the U.S., processed millions of devices, and strengthened its position as a leading omnichannel smartphone trade-in platform. Pavlovsky also drove innovation in the company's AI-powered pricing engine and expanded retail partnerships.
