Tamoil Netherlands has introduced EnRoute smart coffee kiosks at two of its unstaffed fuel stations, according to a Mobility Energy report, expanding food and beverage offerings as part of its strategy to enhance customer services at automated locations.
The first kiosks have been installed at T-Energy Express in Nieuwegein and Tamoil Express in Nieuw-Vennep in partnership with Boa Nova Retail Group, which developed and operates the concept.
The self-service kiosks allow customers to customize beverages by adjusting milk, sweetness and flavor intensity. In addition to coffee specialties, the menu includes iced coffee, matcha tea, iced tea and vegan options. Boa Nova is responsible for maintaining and restocking the kiosks, enabling Tamoil to offer premium beverage service without on-site staff.
Tamoil said the coffee kiosks support its broader effort to transform traditional fuel stations into mobility hubs that combine fueling, electric vehicle charging, car washes and automated food and beverage services. The company operates about 240 fuel stations across the Netherlands and has been investing in sustainable infrastructure, including T-Electric charging stations and T-Energy Hub locations.
