DS Services Acquires Consolidated Water Group

TORONTO -- Cott Corp.'s DS Services business unit has acquired the bottled water delivery business of Consolidated Water Group, which serves home and office customers in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Cott said CWG has "significant overlap with DS Services' current footprint" and will add thousands of new customers.

With dual headquarters in Ontario and Florida, Cott has traditionally focused on carbonated soft drinks. The Canadian beverage manufacturer acquired DS Services last November, extending its portfolio into water and coffee products, and adding home and office delivery services. | READ MORE

Cott says DS Services provides bottled water, office coffee and water filtration services to approximately 1.5 million clients through its network of more than 180 warehouse, branch and distribution facilities. The water and OCS giant operates more than 2,200 routes.
