Dreyer’s to change Eskimo Pie’s name over racial imagery

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, the manufacturer of Eskimo Pie, plans to change the product's brand name on account of its racial imagery, according to a Reuters report.

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream is the U.S. subsidiary of Froneri, a joint venture between R&R Ice Cream in the U.K., which is owned by PAI Partners, and Nestle SA.
