Disney et al Beef Up Security For Holidays

In a sign of these troubling times, America's most popular theme parks are beefing up security. Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, and SeaWorld have all announced that they are increasing security measures for this Christmas season.

According to theme park officials, some of the new security measures will be obvious, such as metal detectors at entrances, along with additional personnel, while others will remain out-of-sight. According to press reports, the move to tighten security has largely been welcomed by patrons to the theme parks, with many voicing their approvals on social media.

To date, there is no indication whether shopping malls, family entertainment centers and other venues are adopting similar measures.
