Christian Dior SE, a high-profile component of the luxury brand powerhouse LVMH, now offers a virtual reality headset. The high-fashion brand isn't playing games. The headset, called Dior Eyes, offers consumers a behind-the-scenes, front-row look at the company's fashion show runways.
Created by the fashion house in partnership with DigitasLBi Labs France, the headset features high-definition 360° imaging and holophonic audio.
Plans call for a rollout of the VR headset at select Dior retail outlets around the world. But there is no word of any plans for Dior Eyes users to combat aliens or launch a fashionably dressed special ops invasion in a post-apocalyptic landscape.
