Digital Media Vending International offers touchless machines

Digital Media Vending International LLC has introduced touchless vending machines in response to the need for a COVID-safe environment, according to a press release.

The machines allow consumers to view and purchase items using mobile phones. Payment is completed using a touchless payment terminal located on the machine.

The delivery area of the vending machine is the only place where the customer needs to physically interact with the machine. The delivery area automatically opens when products have been vended.

After a customer removes a purchase, the delivery area is sealed again and ultraviolet sterilization lights are activated to ensure that the area is completely sanitized before the next transaction. High levels of UVC radiation are effective for decontamination and the killing of the COVID-19 virus, according to research.

The machines connect to an online management platform where business owners can view real-time sales data. Business owners can also remotely update product prices, information, images and video clips on their machines.
