Retail solutions provider DIGI featured its zero-waste bulk shopping system, "Combo," at the NRF APAC. The showcase was part of the company's "Grow with Green" themed booth, which displayed a range of technologies aimed at promoting sustainability in retail, according to a press release.

The Combo system, making its debut in Asia, integrates a bulk bag dispenser called Revo with a reverse weighing scale, the DRS-1000. According to the company, the DRS-1000 is the first OIML-approved reverse weighing system for trade, a feature that eliminates the need for customers to pre-weigh their containers.

"Retailers often lack the right tools to advance their green missions," Masayasu Takashima, managing director of DIGI Singapore, said in the release. "As a leader in retail innovation, we are continuously refining our solutions to empower them in achieving their sustainability goals."

Alongside the Combo system, DIGI exhibited several other products designed to enhance operational efficiency and environmental responsibility. These included the LX-5600 tray sealer for extending food freshness, the DRV-100 reverse vending machine for PET bottles, the AI-equipped SM-6000 AI self-service scale, long-life electronic shelf labels and an energy-efficient digital signage solution.
