Diebold Nixdorf teams with WMF on self-service coffee for Brazil retailers

Diebold Nixdorf Inc. has teamed with WMF Professional Coffee Machines, a German supplier of coffee machines for commercial use, to offer self-service coffee machines to retailers in Brazil, according to a press release.

Thanks to the open APIs of Diebold Nixdorf's cloud-native retail platform, Vynamic Retail Platform, and its ability to connect to any Internet of Things device, retailers can integrate the WMF coffee machines into their IT infrastructure and provide vouchers at the POS after paying for the beverage. The customer then scans the voucher into the machine to get the coffee.

Another option is to connect the coffeemaker to a Diebold Nixdorf self-service kiosk, allowing the customer to complete the process independently without wasting time in line.
