Detroit pot machine operator pleads guilty to illegal gun possession

A Detroit man who sold cannabis from a vending machine attached to his house pled guilty to unlawfully possessing a gun, according to a 9and10news.com report.

The man, Marcellus Cornwell, said he made $2,000 a day from his marijuana vending machine.

Cornwell faces up to 10 years in prison for possessing a gun since he had past convictions and a felony record.

Police found 18 firearms along with ammunition and marijuana in his basement. He was not charged with a drug offense.
