LAS VEGAS, NV - The Digital Centre exhibit at this year's Amusement Expo will feature the company's latest photobooths and the software application that controls them. DC's Britta v3.0 controls features of the photobooths that upgrade them to products that can generate additional income by offering products and services beyond those associated with classical photography. While "fun photos" continue to be the line's main attraction, the new functions made possible by the Britta 3.0 package are designed to satisfy the desires of the new digital era – many of which involve smartphones.
The three basic operating modes of a contemporary DC photobooth are those fun photos, passport-approved ID portraits for official documents and "SmartPrint," which allows patrons to print the images stored on their smartphones. These address the majority of customer business and pleasure requirements.
Beyond those three, Britta 3.0 software enables a Total Share feature that invites patrons to send their images to others on more than eight different digital platforms. It also provides a Promotions feature which enables the operator to offer images enhanced with seasonal themes or customized with location-specific graphics and messages. And the Printing Center feature extends the functionality of SmartPrint by printing digital images from photos stored on a customer's camera or external memory device with a USB interface.
Attracting attention in Las Vegas will be Digital Centre's LED VideoWall photobooth styling. "Wrapping" the latest flat-panel video technology around a photobooth's exterior, the huge VideoWall can be seen at a great distance, displaying not only pictures taken in the photobooth but also motion graphics and advertising. It also imparts a distinctive aesthetic to the equipment that adapts it for any environment.
Digital Centre will show and demonstrate its line in Booth #1144 in the North Hall in the Las Vegas Convention Center. Models on display will include the D'light and Eclipse, adorned with curved Video Walls; the Duplo, essentially two photobooths constructed back to back; and the Panther models, Revolution and Cube, with the familiar photobooth form factor.
Founded in 1997, Digital Centre has expanded into an international company with factories and offices in the United State and Europe, and a steady eye on Asia.
