LAKEWOOD, NJ -- Coastal Amusements reports that Dave and Buster's has placed orders for three of Coastal's latest models as part of D&B's "Summer of Games" package. They are Black Hole, Subway Surfers and Yahtzee, and they join previous successes like Simpsons Soccer, Temple Run and Spin Out as part of the ongoing Dave and Buster's game package.
D&B's senior vice-president of game strategy Kevin Bachus observed that the new Coastal games will make a compelling addition to the chain's Million-Dollar Midways. "We can't wait to see our guests' reactions when they get the chance to play these games," he said.
D&B's Summer of Games is being publicized through national TV ads and an in-store promotion. The promotion highlights the hottest new games of the season.
Coastal Amusements president Lenny Dean said D&B's decision to include all three of the new games in its summer rollout promotion is an "unprecedented event" for his company.
Black Hole is a redemption game that invites the player to shoot a ball up a steeply inclined chute, from which it enters the outermost loop of a spiral with holes at the bottom of each loop. Subway Surfers is a big-screen adaptation of the popular mobile game, which challenges the player to collect valuables and avoid enemies while riding atop a subway train. Yahtzee is an engaging electronic implementation of the 40-year-old international favorite five-dice game.
