WOODBRIDGE, NJ -- Dave & Buster's has opened its first facility in the state of New Jersey. The 34,000-sq.ft. facility, which combines a restaurant and bar with amusements, is situated in the Woodbridge Center Mall in Woodbridge. WOODBRIDGE, NJ -- Dave & Buster's has opened its first facility in the state of New Jersey. The 34,000-sq.ft. facility, which combines a restaurant and bar with amusements, is situated in the Woodbridge Center Mall in Woodbridge.
 
The chain waged a long campaign for repeal of a 1956 New Jersey ordinance that prohibited the sale of alcohol in amusement-game locations. A year ago, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie signed a bill repealing that prohibition.

The chain reportedly is considering a second New Jersey store in a Wayne mall. Dave & Buster's now has 93 facilities across the United States and Canada.
