LOVES PARK, IL -- Arachnid 360, a leading manufacturer of electronic soft-tip dartboards, has promoted three of its longtime staffers. Sam Zammuto advances to president, Pat Rice is now vice-president of engineering and innovation, and Mike Gannon becomes vice-president of customer service.

"Through Sam's supervision, Arachnid has prospered throughout the years and we look forward to our continued growth under his direction as president," said Tony Beall, an Arachnid owner.

Zammuto, who joined Arachnid's sales and promotion team in 1982, has been a change agent in the worldwide electronic darts sector. At Arachnid, he contributed to the creation of the first dart league and the first soft-tip Cricket game, and helped launch the BullShooter World Tour, which is now in its 31st year. He was also involved in the development of applying automated communication to electronic dartboards.

Rice joined Arachnid's engineering department in 1992. The Galaxy II and Galaxy 3 Live dartboard systems are among his top design achievements. He also led development for Super Shuffle and DiscGlo Shuffle, Arachnid's coin-op electronic shuffleboard games. In his new post, Rice will oversee product innovation.

Gannon joined Arachnid in 2002 as a Midwest sales representative before advancing to sales and customer service manager. Prior to Arachnid, Gannon already had 22 years of coin-op experience and numerous industry relationships. In his new customer service post, he will supervise Arachnid's technicians.

Since May 2014, brothers Tony, Chris and Shawn Beall have owned Arachnid. They are the sons of one of the company founders, Paul Beall, a pioneer in the coin-operated darting field. He was awarded several patents related to electronic dart games, from scoring and targeting systems, to technology enabling visually impaired persons to accurately throw darts. The company updated its name to Arachnid 360 to symbolize the circle of Beall family ownership.

Arachnid's Bullshooter 31 takes place May 26-30 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, IL. Visit bullshooter.com for more information.
