The city of Jacksonville, Florida, has approved construction permits for Danone North America's $65 million production line addition at its northwest Jacksonville plant, according to a Jacksonville Daily Record report.
The company announced in February it will invest as much as $65 million over the next two years at the plant and add 40 full-time jobs to its existing 110-person headcount.
The company will add a bottle production line to produce several of its coffee and creamer brands in the U.S., including Silk, International Delight and SToK.
The Paris-based company's operation in North America is based in White Plains, New York and Broomfield, Colorado.
