Danone expects $110 million hit from coronavirus

Danone announced it expects to take a hit equal to 100 million euros or $110.575 million, in first-quarter sales, due to the coronavirus outbreak, according to an enca.com report. Most of the loss will be from business in China, including water brands, Evian and Volvic. 

The company said sales for the first three months of the year were expected to be flat, compared to the 6.1 billion euros ($6.767 billion) in the first quarter of 2019.
