FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA -- Connectivity provider D-Link has introduced a 4G wireless module that can be embedded within vending machines and interactive displays to transmit real-time data back to operators over the cloud.
The D-Link Ethernet Wireless Module (DWM-311) offered as part of the integrated solution has an Ethernet port to connect to the internal computer of a device. Its two antennae connect to a cellular network for reporting back information.
"Our 4G module integrates seamlessly with a service provider solution to offer a range of benefits and services, from increased logistical efficiency to improved customer service," said D-Link senior vice-president Eli Garva. "The ability to react to customer wants and needs based on real-time 4G wireless communication will allow them to remain both prompt and agile in their responses."
Fountain Valley, CA-based D-Link implements and supports unified network solutions that integrate capabilities in switching, wireless, broadband, storage, IP surveillance and cloud-based network management.
